Reuse your Talaskye press-on nails (without ruining them)
You’ve got your dreamy custom set — now let’s make sure you can wear them again and again. With the right care, your Talaskye press-ons can stay just as flawless as the day you got them. Here’s how to protect your set and make the most of every wear:
✨Avoid acetone & nail glue remover
Acetone is a no-go. Since your Talaskye nails are made entirely of gel, using acetone, acetone-based products, or nail glue remover will break them down — dulling the finish, weakening the shape, and making them unusable. Instead, soak your nails in warm, soapy water mixed with a little oil (like coconut or olive oil) to gently loosen the glue.
Always follow proper techniques to remove your press-ons gently to protect both the set and your natural nails from potential damage.
✨ Remove gently
After soaking, lift each nail slowly from the sides. Never force or pop them off. If there’s any glue left on your natural nail, lightly buff it off with a nail file or buffer. It’s okay if a bit remains — just make sure the surface is smooth for your next application.
✨ Store them safely
Once removed, clean your press-ons and store them in a secure place right away. Keep them in order (thumb to pinky) so you don’t mix up sizes, and place them back in your original Talaskye packaging or a small organizer to keep them protected.
✨ Use gloves when needed
Your nails are durable, but they still deserve some TLC. Wear gloves during cleaning or while prepping food to prevent scratches, chips, or chemical exposure that can wear down your set over time.
✨ Don’t use them as tools
As tempting as it is, don’t use your nails to open packages, peel labels, or pop cans. Press-ons are strong — but not indestructible. Treat them like jewellery, and they’ll last a whole lot longer.
With these simple tips, your custom set will stay luxe and ready for many wears to come. 💅
