All new clients will need to buy a sizing kit before placing their first order. This is the best way to make sure your nails fit comfortably and look the most natural. Everyone’s nails are different, even between hands! Each nail shape also has its own sizing, so be sure to get the right kit for the shape you want. Sizing and shape kits are essential—it’s like shopping for a pair of shoes or jeans; you want to try them on before buying. The kits let you find the best shape for your hands and get a feel for the fit before placing an order.

No, your nail sizes can change depending on the shape and length of the nails. It's important to buy the sizing kit in the exact shape and length you want because the fit can vary—even within the same shape. For example, you might be a size 1 in almond medium, but a size 3 in square medium. Even switching from almond short to almond long could result in different sizes. Using the correct sizing kit ensures the most accurate fit for your custom set.
-
If you're between sizes, always choose the larger one. It's easier to file a nail down for a perfect fit than to work with one that's too small—since you can’t add material to make it bigger.
-
Never use acetone or glue remover—this will ruin your press-ons and make them non-reusable. If you used liquid glue, wait at least 10 days before removal. Soak your nails in warm soapy water with oil for 15–20 minutes, then gently lift with a cuticle stick—never force it. If you used glue tabs, you can remove them the same day by soaking for 5–10 minutes and gently lifting. Always buff off any leftover glue and store your nails for reuse.
-
No, because sizing kits from other brands may not match what’s offered at Talaskye. Different manufacturers use different shapes, sizes, and lengths, so it’s important to use a Talaskye sizing kit for the most accurate fit.

I’ll do my best to bring your design to life based on your reference photo and custom preferences—just note that I don’t offer character nail art. You can browse my work on Instagram to see if my style aligns with your vision. When it comes to design and color, please provide clear, high-quality reference photos. Keep in mind that lighting, screen settings, and personal perception can all affect how colors appear. Because of this, exact color matching isn't always guaranteed—but I’ll do my best to get as close as possible.

Once your order is confirmed and paid for, design changes can’t be made. Double-check everything before checking out. Any last-minute changes can slow things down and affect other orders too. You can view all Talaskye policies, including terms of service and privacy policy, here.

Everyone’s hands are unique, which is why sizing and shape kits are helpful—they help determine whether press-ons will work for you and which shape and length offer the best fit. Your natural nail shape and nail bed type play a big role in how press-ons sit and how natural they look. If the largest size in your kit is still too small, don’t worry. Measure the width (at the widest point) and height (from cuticle to tip) of your natural nail in millimetres, and we’ll work together to find a shape that accommodates your size. For example, you might not fit into almond, but square could work—and I can customize it into an almond shape if needed. While I can’t guarantee a perfect fit, I’ll do my best to make it work for you.

The shape of your natural nail bed can affect how press-ons look. For example, medium almond may appear longer on shorter nail beds and shorter on longer nail beds. This is why sizing and shape kits are essential—let’s you get a feel for the length and shape before you place an order.
-
It depends on what you’ll be using them for. For daily wear, consider your lifestyle—if you type a lot at work, shorter lengths may be more comfortable than medium ones. A sizing kit in your desired shape and length is the best way to try them out before committing. If you’re unsure about which shape suits you, a shape kit lets you experiment and discover options you may not have considered.

No, each set is made-to-order and hand-painted based on the sizes and shape you provide when placing an order. While I offer seasonal or popular designs that change with trends, these still require your unique nail measurements.

A shape kit includes one gel nail tip (in one size) in every shape and length available at Talaskye. Use this kit to try on and experiment with different nail shapes and lengths to see which suits you best. Once you've decided which shape you want, you'll need to buy the corresponding sizing kit to accurately measure each individual nail.

As a new customer, the full process can take around 2.5 to 3 weeks from start to finish. This includes ordering a sizing kit (3–5 business days for delivery), measuring your nails, placing a custom design order, production (3–5 business days), and final shipping (another 3–5 business days). Timing may vary depending on when each step is completed. As a returning customer, the process is quicker—typically around 1.5 to 2 weeks. Once you submit your design request, receive a quote, and check out on the same day, your order is processed in 3–5 business days and then shipped (3–5 business days). Orders are dropped off at the shipping company every Friday.
